What is involved in the Financial Services Administrator Apprenticeship?
20 June 2019
Apprenticeships are fantastic training routes which prepare candidates with highly relevant skills and qualifications. They’re perfect for the financial sector and can be a great way to add new talent to your team.
The financial services administrator apprenticeship
The financial services administrator apprenticeship with Simply Academy is a popular course with employers and candidates alike. It is an entry level role, ideal for SMEs as well as larger organisations.
Through a combination of employment and study, this apprenticeship teaches core skills, knowledge and behaviours which are transferrable to a range of financial services career paths. This makes it the perfect foundation for someone new to the industry.
By the end of the course your apprentice is competent, confident and ready to excel in their job role.
Who’s eligible for financial services administrator training?
As with all apprenticeships, you can hire someone new or train an existing staff member. The latter option means you don’t have to recruit someone new if you don’t want to, but this entry level apprenticeship offers a great opportunity to attract new talent.
There are just a few criteria that your candidate must meet in order to be eligible for training. They must:
- Be in full time employment, working at least 30 hours a week.
- Be aged 16 years or over.
- Be living in England.
- Have a right to work in England.
- Hold at least level 2 English and maths prior to end-point assessment.*
*Simply Academy can offer support if your candidate needs this.
